The following principles
apply to the personally identifying information we ask for
and that you provide. "Personally identifying

Import Parts Specialists, Inc collects limited non-personally identifying
information your browser makes available whenever you visit a web
site. This log information includes your Internet Protocol address,
browser type, browser language, the date and time of your download
and in some cases, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify
your browser. We use this information to operate, develop and improve
our services.
Some of our services require you to register. Import Parts Specialists, Inc
asks you for some personal information in order to create an
account (typically your name, email address, physical address,
and phone number) and we will use that information to provide
the service. For certain services, such as our OnLine Shop, we
may request credit card or other payment information which we
do keep securely stored on our servers.
When we require personally identifying information, we will
inform you about the types of information we collect and how

or how many users clicked on a particular advertisement.

The purchase and registration
areas of our site (OnLine Shop) are secure. This means that
any information
you send us is protected
by encryption to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
The secure site is indicated in the
URL with the use of "https://", and often reflected at the bottom of your browser
with a lock or key graphic.
Links
Any links to external web sites may be developed by people over whom
Import Parts Specialists, Inc exercises no control. These other sites may place their
own cookies on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information.
Import Parts Specialists, Inc may present links in a format that enables us to understand
whether they have been followed. We use this information to understand and
improve the quality of our products and web site. For instance, this data helps
us determine how popular a product is and if there is anything we can do to
improve on it.
Returns & Exchanges
1.) Core return policy:
All cores must be returned within 30 days of purchase, & must be in the original package to receive credit. Core credit will be at the discretion of the rebuilder, not Import Parts Specialists, Inc. All decisions regarding core credit are final. Credit will be issued only after review by the rebuilder. Full credit can not be issued for broken housings, disassembled items, or cores that are missing parts. Deduction will depend on the severity of the flaw, & will be up to the rebuilder.
2.) New return policy:
New items to be returned must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice. The item must be in resell able condition, & in the original packaging. Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. There is absolutely no returns on electrical, fuel injection, or special ordered items. Items must be repackaged in an appropriate shipping container. Items shipped in the manufacturer's packaging (no outer box) will be refused.
3.) Warranty item policy:
Import Parts Specialists, Inc. does not imply any warranty, other than that of the manufacturer. Items will be replaced, or refunded at the discretion of Import Parts Specialists, Inc. Replacement items will be charged to your account, & credit will be given upon the inspection & verification of the manufacturer. UPS ground freight costs will be prepaid by Import Parts Specialists, Inc., but overnight, or air freight costs will be the paid by the purchaser.
4.) Lost or damaged item policy:
Any damage must be reported to the freight carrier within 48 hours of receipt of the damaged item. It is imperative that you save the original packaging. Failure to do this may negate any claim of damage. Items that are determined to be "lost" by the carrier will be replaced, or refunded at your option, but only after the package has been determined as "lost" by the carrier. Replacement items can be shipped after the package is overdue, but your account will be charged for the part (s). Some special order items may not be returnable, if the original item arrives at a later date. Please check with a salesperson, before placing a replacement order.
5.) Late air freight credit policy:
On the occasion that an air freight package arrives late, credit will be issued in accordance with the policy of the carrier. Weather & other natural acts may not be grounds for credit, as there is no control over these events. Partial refunds may be issued, to compensate for the slower service. The difference between next day air, & second day air service may be what is refunded, for example. We hope that this will not be an issue, but we will attempt to get as much reimbursement as possible for you.
